It's funny how 28 days can mean anything from the advent of a life of sobriety to the decline of modern society secondary to a zombie plague. Four weeks, one cycle of the moon, a flip of the calendar page, what is it about that technically incomplete number that is so significant. I missed you so much when you poofed too. :) I never resented you, but I can understand it. I feel awful for leaving some people behind, especially when I knew things weren't going well. But in the end I had to do this for me and it was the right thing.

And we could have another Con at my house ya know ... there' enough Ex's now. Could be funny!

I know you are, you are one of my awesomest hidden friends. You're like a touchstone. I know that somewhere out there there is at least one person with a kind word or an understanding smile, and perhaps a knitted sock or two. :)

It's funny that you say that because that was one thing I mentioned right off ... that I'd miss the Cons. And I may not have it on the new SN so drop me a line, I stopped using the old one pretty much completely.

Wow! I'd no idea you'd left. I hear where you're coming from in the sudden lack of communication and I didn't even have as many people I talked to on a daily basis as you did. However, I did find myself loving the people who did stay in touch after I left even more than I did when we were all working together. While the people who vanished did leave bits of pain in their wake - the ones who remained part of my life and my circle of friends were a real treasure. There is something validating in knowing that a genuine meeting of minds and a friendship has been forged that isn't dependant on one extreme point of contact or shared experience.

I think this theme of a gathering of ex's is a great one by the way. ::grins:: And if everyone really gets lonely for a good ol Con - ya'll can always come join me at DragonCon you know! ::winks::

I'm glad you've made this move for the positive force for change that it sounds like it is going to be in your life. Good things come with fresh air and opportunity! ::big loving hugs::
