A couple of months ago, rockgeisha and I voted for a name for a newborn panda. The poll result was announced recently. 44% voted for Tai Shan, so Tai Shan he is. I voted for Qiang Qiang (Strong Strong), that name came in second

I would be elated if the options are names of Homestar Runner characters. I'd vote for Trogdor the Burninator. I've oftened wondered how my life would turn out if it contains the word, Burnintor. I'd probably have get myself to the nunnery.

Poor thing. He has postpartum panda depression. If Tom Cruise were a panda specialist--he never gives advice on things he has no knowledge of--he would prescribe baby panda cub vitamins (berry flavored chalky things in the shape of bamboos) to Tai Shan.
