I am making my first "zine"...i guess, more like a hand-made book, with poetry, prose, illustration and photography. i'm doing it stab-bound and french fold. does anyone have experience with this? what kind of paper do you use? thread?

Where do you go on the web for writer's block inspiration. do you guys have webpages that you visit that can spark an emotion or idea in your head?
i usually goto persephassa.com which has art, photos, novellas, notebooks and press, but lately my mind has built up a tolerance to it.

From all accounts, the Pink Gingerbread from "Dragons In Manhattan" appears to be based on The Red Victorian, a very real venue in San Francisco...
