Right now I'm watching a show about rats on the National Geographic Channel. I can't even begin to describe how awesome a rat's mind is. Next year, when I live off campus with some of my friends, I'm definitely fulfilling my dream of having a pet rat. (Yes, it has been a dream of mine. I've wanted one for years.)

It started snowing a little this morning during my class, and I thought it would be a typical first snow of the year where it just snows for a few minutes, doesn't stick to the ground, and then stops. - I start looking at Facebook and MySpace profiles of my friends' roommates for next year. (They're both freshmen, and their enthusiasm for college is so cute! And is Allen Park one of those rich Detroit neighborhoods?)

- I spend an hour reading the message board for ACES (American Copy Editors Society).

I finally got roommate information in the mail today. I was just excited to find out who our final roommate was since the rest of us found each other already on Facebook. But I was very surprised when I opened the information to discover that my room was changed on me.

Sentence #1: The panda eats shoots and leaves.
    - Simply means that the panda eats shoots and eats leaves.

You know what's not so fun? When someone who's in your group for writing a feature story doesn't do what you asked of them.
