Alll the single ladies...
My shipment of ladybugs just arrived. I squirted my climbing rose with ladybug pheromone and set them out . I am ridiculously happy about this, as well. -

The sunny bed in my yard where the roses grow also has peonies, lavender and creeping thryme and ajuga between the plants. I was doing some weeding this morning and noticed that the thyme had started blooming. There were bees all over, dotting the tiny mauve flowers.
Along with the bumblers, I counted 15 honeybees. This makes me ridiculously -

2011 I live in a comfortable split level home n the suburbs. Four bedrooms, recently remodeled. My yard is full of native plants and herbs and I have a rose garden that also has peonies, lavender and creeping thyme. My children are growing up and my husband and I are talking about downsizing.
