Apparently it's been little more than a week shy of 2 years since I posted here.  My last post in July 2009 was about opening a Facebook account - and that's where it ends.  That was 2 years ago already?!?  Sheesh.  How did that happen

This this this so many times this. I love Facebook for the immediacy and ease of posting, but I hate that basically no one talks about anything meaningful any more.

... and then I help perpetuate the issue by being too lazy/unfocused to write real posts. :P

I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels this way. But I wish that more of the people I care about were on LiveJournal. It's occurred to me that maybe they are, but since everyone goes by pseudonyms here, how would I know? I could ask on Facebook - but a large part of the point of LiveJournal is NOT announcing my presence here to the entire universe - it's a more intimate setting and that's what I love about it. Still - being intimate with just myself is not particularly interesting to me. So I'm glad you're still here. And I wish more folks would come back. Or that I would find more people here. Or something.
