i read the lovely bones in a matter of hours. & already i can't sit still and want nothing more than to go to barnes & noble. so i think it's time for a reading list, informal, and updated frequently, of the books

The Lovely Bones is great. Just this weekend, I typed up a list ofthe books I want to read. Here's some of my list:

Wow, this must be a sign or something. Just yesterday, I made myself a booklist to remember all of the amazing possibilities there are for summer reading. I'm in the middle of Anna Karenina, have Harry Potter sitting on my desk, and have The Heart is a Lonely Hunter and White Teeth as numbers 2 and 3 on my list. Coincidence much??

lucky is by alice sebold. it's a memoir she wrote about how she was raped her freshman year in college.

Ooh I read a summary on The Lovely Bones a while back, and today I saw it while wandering around Borders. It looks so good.

oh it was!
i adore any book that grabs you and demands you read it all at once. like you tell yourself you'll stop for a break at the end of the chapter but it flows right into the next chapter so perfectly that you just keep reading without even realizing it.
you should definately read it!!
