So I've effectively avoided any and all "Christmas cheer" on campus, and to tell the truth, I do not think I missed much. The people in town have slipped from their throne of crazed euphoria to a more sullen, depressing state. I believe it has something to do with high credit card bills or "debts", whatever all those are. Why do people owe so much ( Read more... )

A whole cake wasted?! I hope you were able to get a new one!

Yes, they broke my cake. I was quite disappointed. I've never had cake before, and was anxious to try it. And no, I didn't buy a new one. I was angry, and came home.

Now I want cake, though. Or I think I do. Have you been acquianted with cake?

Eh?! No cake, not ever? You must, must try it! It's one of the most delicious things in the whole wide world and there's so many different kinds!

The one I had was called... "Peanut Butter Fudge Crunch". The female at the counter said I should try the iced cream of the same name. I took note of that.

What kinds of cake have you tried? Have you tried iced cream too?

We've got to go see Loz soon. Like, really soon. Now-ish! Where's his dorm at? Did you pick your classes? Am I in any of them? When can you and I get together? I haven't seen YOU yet either, you know.

I can go get you another cake, if you want.

I know. I know. No. I don't know. Yes. I don't think so. Later? I know.

Yes, do that.

WELL THAT'S VERY TO-THE-POINT.

What kind of cake do you want? Crab? Salmon?

It's not all that bad! Really. Did you at least spend time with your family?

My family? I only have three family, and one I know I have but cannot find.

And no. I saw none of them this Christmas. I spent it studying and preparing myself for the upcoming classes. I like to be ahead.

Don't be. I was not aware of the holiday and it's purpose in the first place, so wasn't really missing out on much. Who are you?

That bitchy attitude everyone has right now is called "buyer's remorse." It happens every holiday. People spend money they don't have on things they don't need to impress people they don't even like. It's called the human condition squirt. Get used to it.

So... if I have this right, the reason you are the way you are all year round is called Buyer's Remorse. Is it like a disease? You require a cure.

If I remember correctly, I'm supposed to be pissed at you, not the other way around. I did nothing to you. Or are you still sore cause you got your ass handed to you by AVALANCHE? Well tough tits sweetheart. Might as well paint the fence another color, and there isn't an insult you can throw at me that'll make your bruised ego better.

I do apologize, Ellen. Elaine? Whatever. You'll have to repeat yourself. Your message appears to be cluttered with nonsense.

I don't think the holiday stuff was that bad. Maybe New Year's stuff is more your kind of thing, though?

Yes, but you're probably insane.

And I doubt it. I see no sense in celebrating the fact that this realm is passing it's 365th day. When did people become so interested in numbers? Besides in currency, anyway. Humans are obsessed with those numbers.

Oh you just don't understand! You'll come hang out with me on New Year's Eve, and we'll have fun. We'll make noisemakers and confetti and ring in the new year!

How about no.

Are you serious? Confetti? Noisemakers? Maybe...
