i caught a mouse with an empty box at 330 this morning. i chased it into the sink, then after soaking the poor thing, i managed to get it into the box. i was angry and i wanted to kill it because im not happy with my life and pathetically i thought that taking the life of something smaller than me that can make me that angry would make me feel

When I was 13 we lived in Montana, and we had a serious mouse problem. I didn't think that the idea of using traps for the mice would bother me, until 2 things happened. One, I witnessed a mouse getting caught in a snap trap, and heard it squeal louder than anything that small should be able to. Two, my mother set out glue traps, and we caught a really young, barely bigger than baby mouse on one. I tried to get him off and ended ended up ripping his skin off his stomach.

I threw away all the glue traps after that and refused to let my mother set anymore snap traps. She ended up having to call an exterminator because I wouldn't help her kill them.
