Hobbes update
Hobbes is still hanging on, but he's pretty miserable. He won't eat or drink water, and the only thing keeping him hydrated is the subcutaneous fluids. He doesn't move around much, and he won't use the litterbox we put out here for him. Not that he's had any sort of bowel movement or anything-he's peed twice in since friday, and both times it's ( Read more... ) -

Well, Hobbes' kidneys are ok, so it isn't renal failure like I thought it was. But bloodwork, urinalysis and x-rays have determined nothing more than his white cell count is high, red cell count is low, and he has a shitload of fluid in his abdominal area. The vets are thinking it's cancer, but they can't tell for sure. They wanted to have me take ( Read more... ) -
