I was at the ConCept sci-fi convention which took place in Montreal, Canada, over the weekend and one of the guests of honour was Samantha Ferris who played the character of Ellen on Supernatural. I had wanted to meet her for a long time so I was thrilled when I learned that she was going to be there.

It sounds like you had an awesome time and that Samantha is a very nice woman. That last picture of the two of you is just lovely. So nice that when you meet famous people in real life and not only do they not disappoint you, they impress you even more than you could have imagined.

Pretty cool about the animal rescue also.

Oh, she certainly didn't disappoint, that's for sure. But to be honest with you, I had a feeling she would be very nice because I think I had read something to that effect from other fans who had previously met her at other conventions.

I do hope she came back to the show, there is some loose ends that I want to know the answers.
You didn't ask her about what she think her character might be after the end of season 2 did you?

I know what you mean about the loose ends needing to be tied... I was afraid Ellen would quit the hunting business after Season 2 but she obviously didn't. I'm curious to know what became of her. I probably should have asked her but then I don't think she would have had the answer. I'm pretty sure that only Eric Kripke knows the answer to that... :D

Wonderful love!!! I know how much you loved/love her character. Its fantastic Samantha, herself was so accessible and far exceeded your expectations.

Thank you so much, hun! I have to say it did make me very happy. I knew I'd probably get to meet her eventually because I do want to go to a Supernatural convention at some point and she seems to attend most of them, but I didn't think I would get to meet her so soon.
