My mom called me with an intersting question. She is buying Christmas presents for some of the residents at my grandma's nursing home. She's on the auxiliary there, and they make sure that everyone gets a present at Christmas, since not everyone has family. One of the women there likes to play Croquinole. Uno was the first thing that came to mind. I'll keep thinking on it and let you know if I think of others.

Mancala also comes to mind.

I remembered two games I used to play with my grandmother growing up. The first thing I thought of was Mexican Train. (Dominoes game)
