I am so excited about Christmas! The charity project I started last year ended up giving four children, a single mom, and seven homeless women Christmas this year. How great is that?! Thanks definitly goes to God for letting me do this.

I am almost worn to a frazzle. I have been cooking. The menu at my house for tomorrow's Thanksgiving feast:

Sweet and spicy roasted pecans
Hot crab dip
Oyster artichoke soup
Cajun turkey
Oyster dressing
Cajun mustard greens
Asparagus casserole
Sweet potato pie
Cherry cheesecake pie

I'm totally obsessing over having a baby. I keep telling myself to just enjoy these months left with just me and kevin. I think I'm just finally ready to move on to that part of our lives. It's only six more months until we try. I need to chill!!

My mother in law took me shopping today. It was absolutely awesome. She bought me tons of clothes, a winter coat, and shoes. We also got tons of Christmas shopping done.

We have decided to start trying to conceive summer 09. I'm so excited, but not so sure how great I will be at the whole mothering thing. I worry that I would not be sturn enough ( Read more... )

The peanuts turned out too salty. Lesson learned.
