I have a new way to put lace on my garb.....boot socks. They were worn to protect the boot from your foot, and fold over the top, conveniently providing a new surface to which lace may be attatched.

.....failed!!!  Can't get my computer connection to load the WS pictures....will get on campus later as they have sooper dooper connections....

Until then.....time to go mass produce fencing shirts since I seem to have this habit of leaving them places....long story, don't ask.

 I went to archery practice for the first time last night.  For a non contact sport, it sure can give a lot of bruises.  I'm still trying to figure out how to turn my arm to prevent the string from snapping it.  Any advice, anyone ( Read more... )

I love that I can pack for large events in less than two hours with no packing list.  It is awesome.  Took all my stuff up to Logan to deposit in Bart's trailer as he is my ride to Estrella.  Snow bad.  Grapefruit juice worse.  Don't ask.  So everything is good to go except the stuff that I haven't finished sewing yet.  Weirdly, I was doing the ( Read more... )

For the second time in 3 weeks, I have a fever just over 100 degrees and no other particularly discernable symptoms.  The kitties are helping me keep warm, and since there is nothing that can't wait until tomorrow, I'm going back to bed after having slept in until noon....
