So train tickets to Banbury from York are almost £20 cheaper on the Thursday of next Maelstrom than on the Friday. However a Thursday ticket would not get me into Banbury until ~half nine on Thursday evening, thanks to work, and that's several hours after the minibus run.  This is quite interesting (as somebody who has had glandular fever).  Fortunately I am planning on spending a fair few weekends outside in the sunshine this summer!
