Dang. I hope your gallbladder is able to remain intact.
I also hope that your dad gets some relief - whether because or in spite of all of the continued scanning and poking and prodding he apparently will have to endure.

My sister had her gall bladder out. Much happier. She's actually a more pleasant person.

Today it's been better, but I'm definitely going to get it checked out. Dad's currently super-medicated, so he's resting comfortably.
