Hmm. I have a sneaking suspicion that Google's new image-search capability now extends to the way it displays ads. I just couldn't help but notice how strange it was that I see an ad for Jane Eyre superimposed next to my current friends-mostly sticky post, which contains Elizabeth Bennett poring over her "love/hate" letter ( Read more... ) -

I knew it!
I knew there was something very "old-hymn-ish" about Brighter Day by Gungor. It's been tickling my brain every time I listen to the intro.
And I finally figured out what it sounds like! It (roughly) follows the tune to the first line of Great is Thy Faithfulness! -
Oh my.
Also, there was a preview for Breaking Dawn right before the movie.... and at the (ridiculously fan-service-y) moment Jacob tears off his shirt to transform (because he's a maaaaaaaaaaaad, moody teenage shapeshifter, who cares about his clothes, of course), a lady in the back row screams in delight.
Yes, that happened.

Mischief Managed...
I cannot believe my luck! Last week I got to see Deathly Hallows part 1, and tonight I got to see Deathly Hallows part 2! It was amazing... such a bittersweet but satisfying end.
*sigh*
The Harry Potter saga is officially over... all the books, finished. And now, all the movies. -

Ode to that painful back molar
Groggy... sore throat... weird feeling in my gums...
Yeah, I got my tooth taken out yesterday. Still tasting the occasional tang of blood.
I didn't expect to be so tired afterward... I guess it actually was pretty taxing on my body even though I didn't feel a thing under local anesthetic.
