Yes, after many moons, I have joined the 21st (or 14th, depending) century.  Hopefully some of my friends can help me navigate this brand new thang...

Woo hoo! Ali now has LJ! Bummer that Alicat was taken, but this handle works just fine.

Regarding navigating this thang...

1) If you don't get an email announcing that I just friended you, you might want to change your preferences to get such notices.

2) You probably want to wander over to hausvdk and join. Other groups you might want to join could include sca and sca_east.

3) You might be wondering how I get those names above to be links. LJ has it's own set of tags, and also uses a lot of common html tags. These allow you to link to people with LJ accounts, and also to write bold, italic, underlined, small, etc. If/when you're ready to learn how to do this stuff, let me know and I'll send you a primer.

That's all I can think of for now. If you have other questions, feel free to ask.
