Second draft of Windows of Opportunity is done! It only took ten months. The next draft should be much faster, and then... It'll be a while. The editor must bleed all over it and then send it back for a serious, massive, major rewrite. Jude makes me work for every finished story. Yay! -
Greatest Wedding Idea Ever!
If I had it to do over again (and might, just for the hell of it), I'd make my wedding a one-of-a-kind event that would rock everyone's idea of what a wedding should be.

There will be more entries in the Diary fanfic. I have great plans for the Tarot cards and the person sending them, taking the Rock Star to some strange, exciting places. There could be smex.
Meanwhile, things are progressing with the Original Fic. I'm up to Chapter 25 and hitting a section where I don't anticipate a lot of intensive re-writing. ( Read more... ) -

Wow, Japan.
Everything about it - the culture, the food, the clothing, the technology - is this incredible, eclectic mix of the ancient and futuristic. Being in Tokyo is a visit to Wonderland and Oz all rolled into one magical city. I could spend forever there.

Chapter 20 bites the dust and I'm moving on to 21. There's a little maintenance and scene setting to conclude, and then I'll be moving into the chapter that, in the unpublished fanfic, started this whole journey. I find it interesting that it's taken so long to get to the "meat" of the story, but this section contains the turning point in the story ( Read more... ) -

Chapter 19 has finally been put to bed, yay. It had gotten so big I just cut it in half, so now I'm immersed in continuing Ch20. Got my timeline updated, which is helpful, and have divided the work up into sections that will probably be revised later.
