For a number of reasons I have decided to say goodbye to Lady_Jayne. It's been 10 years and I think it's time. My story isn't over, but this chapter is.

Short entry tonight. I started the sertraline two days early because the withdrawal from the citalopram was just too much to bear. Signs so far are good but wondering if that is just wishful thinking. I'm sure the sertraline doesn't kick in that fast. On the other hand, I've felt so damn awful detoxing that perhaps anything better feels pretty good ( Read more... )

Due to the withdrawal from the citalopram I have now been given diazepam to add to the mix. I could probably make a fortune if I tried to sell all my meds. Or kill myself if I took the whole concoction ( Read more... )

Things with me were fine until A phoned after The Apprentice this evening. We tried to talk. Unsuccessfully. She told me she was still trying to get her head around what happened last weekend. Two days until the Sertraline. I picked up the prescription in preparation today. I also felt light headed and dizzy when I got back from the pharmacy. I think that is withdrawal symptoms from the citalopram. I had similar when I stopped taking it suddenly a few months ago. Three more days until the sertraline. I've googled the side effects and they don't look good. I'm a little unsure whether to take it now because of the side effects and because I'm feeling better than I did this time last week. But then, that isn't hard. I shall probably try it and see how it goes. After all, what have I got left to lose?
