I AM SO. MOTHER. EFFING. JEALOUS.

When this show was first announced I squealed like a teenager because OMG, the BSB at Fenway. I wasn't in to New Kids much but I do know a few of their songs, but the BSB was my childhood. Brian was my first celebrity crush and I had our entire wedding planned when I was 13. You know. Anyway. I had barely had time to get excited before I realized that my cousin was getting married THE SAME NIGHT. And so, I was in a church, and then a hall, instead of at Fenway reliving my childhood. And it sounds like I missed an INCREDIBLE show, and. I am sad.

But I'm glad you had such a good time. :D

It always makes me feel so old when people refer to Backstreet as their "childhood". I was in college when I was into them. *coughs* New Kids was my childhood.

But yeah, if they come back this way, and I think they will, you'll have to go, it was totally worth it!

Oh man. I would love to see NKOTB at Fenway. *sigh* Oh well. I get to see them (again) and the BSB (again) at Staples on July 1st, and as goofy and cracktastic as I thought it would be a few months ago... the closer it gets, the more exciting it gets. I was a Jonathan girl when I was a kid, and to actually see him out there again, and seeing him tweet like the dirty old man he is, I can't even begin to tell you how happy that makes me. But I think you're right - Donnie and AJ are probably the two I'd go for now. I don't know what it is about them. Like Donnie? DONNIE?! My 10-year old self is kicking me in the shins right now. And I think when I first liked BSB (for the brief time I did) I was a Kevin fan. Ick.

Anyways, I'm glad you had a great time. And that's awesome that Mark was out there introducing them. He didn't happen to drop his pants for good measure, did he? LOL (Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch was my first concert.)

It's so funny how tastes change. I never would have liked AJ back in the day and of course every other ten year old wanted Joey right alongside me. Though I did have a Donnie poster in my room, I remember.

I'm glad I'm not the only one geeking out over this. It was such a great show!
