I have finally, finally, FINALLY
seen Phantom! AND IT WAS AMAZING. Myself, I've never been a giant Harold Prince fan. But Phantom? Was awesome.
Cannot wait until the 21st to see it again.
Also: why did no one tell me that Richard III is three and a half hours long? Sets were great though. -
I have found a new love:
Charles Dickens. How have I never before read Charles Dickens? Am currently in the middle of Oliver, as it was prompted by PBS' showing with Timothy Spall (how awesome is this version of Oliver? Seriously. AND THE MUSIC. Oh GOD, the music is fantastic). And oh is it awesome.

Writer's Block: Know by Heart
The lyrics to absolutely anything that Fall Out Boy or The Fray has ever written. Seriously, I'd make up my own lyrics and sometimes my lyrics made more sense than theirs did.
Also, in the second verse of Buenos Aires, I always thought Patti LuPone was saying something about Doritos in the verse where there's some metaphor concerning eiderdown. ( Read more... )
