Nice Hat

I bought a new hat on my vacation earlier this spring. It's a sky-blue porkpie hat with a thin ribbon band; in other words, it's the kind of hat more usually seen on the wispy bald head of an elderly man ( Read more... )

there is no way this hat is anything but extremely awesome. i demand a photograph. also, on special occasions you should definitely add a feather. and call it macaroni. (what the hell does that mean, anyway?)

A macaroni was a fashionable person in England during colonial times.

The statement is an insult to colonists...that they would think that having a feather in a hat would be fashionable.

Also, I want to see the hat in public.

Wait, were you wearing it on the last day, at breakfast at the Blue Parrot? My memory is hazy. I think it may very well be the result of H Trouser's extra potent margaritas...

A photo would help jog my recollection, I am sure. You could put the requisite black bar across your eyes to preserve your secret identity.

And pork pie hats do rule. Robert Oppenheimer made them his signature, and who can forget Popeye Doyle?
