I was walking through Barnes and Noble about a week ago, when a little boy attached himself to me. He was about seven years old, and was so engrossed in his hand held game system that I don't think he had looked up from the time he had come in with his mom and grandmother.

 sadness... today, one of my close friends lost a close friend.  My friend's friend, Joanna killed herself over the weekend.  Shot herself leaving her husband to raise their two and a half year old daughter.  I went over to visit my friend and comfort her this morning, and i spent this evening lighting candles and whispering prayers of comfort.  I ( Read more... )

It was wonderful...
My girlfriend came over and spent the weekend.  I am soooo happy.  Usually i end up at her house for the weekend, especially if my boyfriend is gone on the road.  This weekend, i had both of them in the house all weekend, and it was great!  We all needed the time to bond.

Life is good!!!!
