Internet chatrooms and singles sites (Lavalife, Adult Match.com, etc) need to be more tightly policed so that people are not deliberately mislead by false details such as old/ false photos, covering up their true age, lying about their marital status, past criminal records, etc.

Female

Age- 16

Do you believe people can fall in love over the internet?
Yes

Have you ever had a ‘cyber relationship’ (been in a relationship with someone you met over the internet)
No

If so, where did you meet them?
Chat room Dating site (i.e. Lavalife) Forum/ message board
Other

If not, do you think you ever would?
Unsure

Why/ Why not?

What do you think of people in internet relationships/ relationships that started on the internet?
Whatever floats their boat Loser Other-__Good on them._______________ ( ... )

You get to learn more about the person without the same restraints of a physical meeting, downside is you angst because you don't get to see them much/often/or at all.

Why/ Why not? Because I know someone who fell in 'love' over the net, sold all her stuff and moved over seas only to find that she had fallen for a 60 year old pervet... this is not a good thing- you never know who is *really* behind the words...

Yes, if it isn't so painfully obvious XD

If so, where did you meet them?
Forum

If not, do you think you ever would?
Quite possibly

Why/ Why not? In my opinion, places such as forums and chatrooms are just another community. A society in a society, if you will.
