I spent most of the day sewing.  The bodice is all mocked up (boy was that an adventure I don't feel like repeating any time soon) and the skirt is almost ready to be trimmed and pleated.  It's my goal tonight to hit that "I can't do anything else without my trim" wall.  I'm close.  I've cut the fashion fabric and zig zagged the edges on everything ( Read more... )

Today I went and got my oil changed.  Maybe it's just me, but when I leave I always feel like I am getting scammed somehow.  Every time I go it seems like there is some big expensive service that my car "needs."  I'm sure a lot of this has to do with the fact that I am female and not from a car family.   I wonder if it's the same for guys?

Sorry for not cutting that last one.  The only problem with doing a journal entry that lasts until bed time is that when you're done all you want to do is go to bed and sometimes forget little things.  It's fixed now.
