The story's lovely. I love AUs, although I bet they're a real challenge to write. You've got Fraser spot-on here, and I think his is one of the most difficult voices to balance, even in non-AUs (Fraser's my soft-spot character; I love him to pieces, and not just because he's pretty *g*).
