We are adopting a friend for Flynx. He's a tabby that we're going to name Pip. He gets fixed on the 21st and will come home after that.

I found him on Freecycle. We've been wanting to get Flynx a friend for a while now because he wants to play with Shadow and she wants to be left alone. Pip is about 3 months older than Flynx so they should have similar levels of energy and playfulness.

Shadow is fine. She just doesn't want to play with Flynx and he harasses her mercilessly. We're hoping that with a friend his own age he'll leave her alone. Of course they'll probably both gang up on her.

If anything had happened to her I would have let everyone know. Although she is at higher risk than Flynx because she goes outside. So far she hasn't left the property (to my knowledge). We usually find her sitting in the carport. Jim let Dan watch Animal Cops on Animal Planet and he was upset for about a week that something horrible would happen to her.
