Well....Im 18 and Im still uncomfortable smoking in front of my parents. Thats no good either. And Im Atheist and my dad absolutely hates that. But what can ya do. Try not to burdon yourself. It can only get better.

Actually it only gets WORSE not better. THe bible warns of this stating the closest ones to you will be the first to turn away from you becuase of your (our) faith. You just have to stay steadfast and diligent. Dad is just putting up a front. He says those things just to make you feel guilty...don't let him be successful in it.
Just keep on showing him that you still love him and no matter what we will still associate with him! MUAHAHAHAHAH! HE WILL NEVER GET RID OF IS!! YAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA! WE WILL TAKE OVER!!!!...ok enough.....
