Howdy all - I know it's been awhile since I've posted here but eh.. hasn't been much to write about. My health is still up and down, but no more trips to hospital which is always a good thing

If it happens and we do go over, I'm planning on (if I can afford it) coming over to the mainland for a week or two to see you and a few others! But it'll all depend on finances.
*huggles* I know what you mean about the weight thing. I'm right there with you. It's something a person can't understand unless they've been there. I've heard so many times, "but your pretty!".... Maybe I am, but I have trouble seeing it.
I'll tell you this though. Once you do find someone who thinks your pretty 'n sexy and you know it's genuine it makes you feel amazing.
Exactly. People that say "Oh but you're so pretty.. you need to believe it.." don't have to look at the reflection in the mirror that tells a different story.. that tells the TRUE story..
That's the thing, I thought I'd found that.. but it turned out to be another one of lifes cruel twists that had me spiralling backwards and even though it's been months and months the pain still gets me even if I pretend it doesn't..
I miss you tooo bunches and bunches - it feels like FOREVER since we've chatted. Love ya!
A good way to get motivated to lose weight is to have a 'competition' or so with a friend.
Laura and I had one over the net, and whilst it sort of tapered out, we both lost weight. I really need to get back into it too, ive put on again, and i wasnt back down to my goal weight, but no matter how big or small the amount is that you need to lose, it helps so much to have someone there talking about it with you, telling you what theyve been doing, and just motivating you without realising they are doing it!
I'm up for it if you want to do something like that. Even if you don't, you know where I am if you wanna talk about it :)
Yeah, I was doing that with my friend Casey - but she and I have the same problems with motivation and willpower and stuff.. meaning we HAVE none..
One of my biggest problems is that I am scared of what life will be like 'after' and I'm letting the irrational part of my head dictate my life and I'm struggling majorly to change it, unsuccesfully it seems.

I can sort of understand where you are coming from in the "letting irrational part of your head dictate your life" as mine gets to me all the time and I start thinking of all the worst case scenarios, then working myself up over them, when in all likely hood, they will never happen!
Just look at it as an ongoing battle, and you will be stronger for it in the long run
