I have an absolutely clear memory of Jim Henson on TV demonstrating bluescreen technology from when I was a little kid. He was being bluescreened and put on a blue tie, and his chest dissappeared and the background showed through. Then, they stopped superimposing the image, the tie came back, the background went away, and everything was just blue.

That was one of those "computers can do that?" moments that will stay with me forever.

Yeah. Muppets rock.

i have the fraggle rock theme song memorized. (and the muppet show naturally. i also, for some reason still have the theme song from the Gummi Bears cartoon still memorized.)

I think if you're cold and need a vacation...going to Chicago doesn't make sense, instead GOING TO SUNNY FLORIDA AND D DOES!!!! If you get a plane ticket for next week I think I can still get you a ticket to see whoopie w/ us!!! HOOORAY FOR WHOOPIE!

my sister no longer lives in chicago. her and her boyfriend live in Lancaster, PA, about an hour from Philadelphia.

and with current gas prices, the odds of me being able to find an affordable ticket to Florida with less than a week's notice is a million to one. i was thinking of going somewhere in a few weeks. I think what i really wanna do is go to NYC for a few days if i can find someone to go with me.

funny yo should mention that, my family has been battling over what are plans are for the past week, i finally stepped up, reminded them that they ALL abandoned me last year and told them that i couldn't care less what we did. maybe i should abandon them this year... hmm...
