Restless
Very restless today.... and very irritated.
Mystery nasal spray smell STILL hasn't gone away. Seems to be worse at nice, for reasons beyond my comprehension.
I've been woken by thunderstorms at 5am for the past 2 nights. I don't think one is expected tonight, which I am thankful for.

Insomnia strikes again!
...probably because of the 40 minute nap I took at 9:30pm... Red wine makes me sleepy (but only sometimes). I thought that under an hour of sleep wouldn't inhibit my normal bedtime, but I was wrong. Oops ( Read more... ) -

Yes, I have been remiss in my posting duties...
My main excuse is work. I've had almost a complete staff turnover in the last six weeks. Thus, I've been averaging 60-70 hour work weeks and then being too exhausted to do much else. Been meaning to post for quite a while, but I got overwhelmed a while back when I had a string of employees in and out the door at the bakery. So I've been quite bogged down. Another employee gave notice this week. Yuck. I hate having to interview and train new employees all the time.

On Thursday, April 17th, I'm going to be doing a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society up at the bakery. My friend Trista is running the mini marathon for Team in Training, a part of the LLS. She has to raise a rather large sum of money. Being a lymphoma survivor, I offered to help her however I could. The Upside of Pneumonia? Several people have told me I look thinner. However, with all the steroids I'm STILL taking (4 more days) I'm all bloated and feel like a human water bottle. Yay for stress and pneumonia inducing weight loss. Umm. I guess? I'd still rather not have had pneumonia.
