The Upside of Pneumonia? Several people have told me I look thinner. However, with all the steroids I'm STILL taking (4 more days) I'm all bloated and feel like a human water bottle. Yay for stress and pneumonia inducing weight loss. Umm. I guess? I'd still rather not have had pneumonia.

Hey, I've been meaning to comment to tell you how much I'm enjoying hearing updates on things in your life recently! It's making me want to get off my butt and write some more in my journal.

Amber and I are doing well out here in Pakistan, suicide bombings notwithstanding. I'm applying for jobs like mad all over the USA, and a few abroad. No idea where I'll be in 6 months. It's strange.

I would love to see you guys back in the states cause then I'd probably get to see a tiny bit more of you. It sounds like life in PAkistan is quite the adventure! You should definitely write some more! It feels very refreshing.

I'm so glad you got to experience that energy healing. I am attuned for the first level in Reiki and I did this after realizing in a group of people, I could feel the energy swoop by us with our hands facing out and mentally everyone made it circle around and I totally felt it! Wow! Can I ask where you learned this? Was it around here? My mother is very interested in learning Reiki and I would love to learn more about it. My massage therapist does a bit of Reiki during my massage each month and I find it very intriguing.

Sure! I'm glad you're interested, I took it at Eternal Health Yoga located on Frankfort. Shelly is the owner and I've been going occasionally ever since she first opened and now she's a huge hit! She even does every first Sunday of the month free yoga class for the community around noon.

The Reiki class cost me $175 and was an all day type of thing, however, I recently heard that she gives classes now for much less.

I bet you'd look cute with bangs. I tried them, but my hair is too straight and they just hung down in my face and tickled my nose and drove me nuts. With the wave in your hair, though, you could probably get them to behave.

I have seen an energy healer before and it is really amazing! I'd like to see one again. I should look into whatever happened to the lady I originally saw.

You should! It was really amazing. I can't wait to do a full session with her in 2 weeks. She wants to work on me for two hours and since she is my mother's friend, my mother is treating me to this first session. I am very intrigued by how it all works.
