I thought of yet another way to make you batty. Get a cat. Better yet, since you claim you'll never be home for a pet, get TWO cats. They can play with each other and then they can amuse you when you come home at night...

I can't spend the night this trip, because I've got to get home to the baby, but an early dinner might be an option if you have the time. I totally and completely understand if you don't have the time right now!
