Dr.'s appointment this morning. No big deal, just routine bloodwork because of my meds. Left the Dr's office, and did some shopping. I picked up one of those cheap metal shelves that go over the back of the toilet. The box was HUGE ( Read more... ) -

Dad went Friday to have the treated blood cells put back in. He was in the chair for an hour this time. During the treatment, his back went into spasms, and they had to give him 2 Demerol. My sis picked him up, and when he got home, he slept for 12 hours. Not sure if that had more to do with the treatment itself, or the Demerol. By Saturday, ( Read more... ) -
Dad update
Dad went for the first part of his treatment on Wed. He spent 4 hours on a dialysis machine while they filtered out white blood cells. They are going to treat them with some sort of vaccine and put them back in sometime today. He seems to be in good spirits, so that's a plus. He'll have to do this several more times over the next few months. I ( Read more... ) -
