So, I started coming down with a cold or sinus infection on Thursday night which developed over Friday, so I went to the workshop in Asheville not feeling my best. It was, nevertheless, a fabulous workshop, especially the sword portion… I now know where to buy those fabulous scimitars all the tribal folks use! It was great getting sword from Zi’

What were the taxes and all that stuff?

Seems to have included them- I paid a flat $280 for 7 tickets, so it's just $40... we are split into 2 rows (J and K) in Orchestra Right, 3 in one row and 4 in the other, so we're in a little block all together :)

Hope they are good seats!!!!!!!

Adopting Greyhounds.

My Mom and step dad adopted a greyhound (Snowy), and absolutely adored her. They became very active in the adopt a greyhound program in Central Fla. By all accounts they generally make great pets. (The Greyhounds, not my mom and step dad).

But, I'd double check on "Cat Trainable" note on quick. The site seems to be very responsible about indicating what kind of relationship each greyhound has with cats (I had a long diatribe typed out before actually looking at the page.) So it "should" be ok, but may require some work.

Yes, that's what I was thinking... "trainable" but not "cat ready"... probably b/c she's just off the tracks but not been fostered to a home with cats. I am grateful that they do some testing and identify those dogs that are not cat compatible. My kitties are especially grateful, as they have no wish to be confused with a rabbit ;)

I want the doggie, but Chaz isn't so keen on greyhounds. Not first choice, at least.

I am in the throws of doggie love in general. Kitty love too. I feel the need to expand my home and would ideally like a dog and another cat... Chaz would kill me though if he came home to both!

I think I'm going to get a rescue Greyhound eventually. Or, maybe another Siberian. At any rate, it will be a rescue. Sorry you guys couldn't make it yesterday. We had a blast. There is something coming up in June that I think Chaz will be very interested in, the timing should work out with GARF ending. Russ left him a message on his cell phone about it.
