I had a fabulous costume all set to go for Boo and Brew this year and they had to cancel it because of the rain!! I was going to be the Corpse Bride. Different year....

CRF opened this weekend... the turnout was NOT good since it was wet, cold, windy and rainy both days. Sunday was slightly better and warmed up enough so I did not have to wear my cloak.

Good news (finally) Russ was offered a job yesterday and will start on Monday. The money isn't as much as he was making previously, but, he needs to work and we will survive as best we can! So, thank you to all of you who have sent kind words and thoughts and good vibes to us. As I've said previously, it's been a very hard year on our family.

I just read something about the MTV Music Awards that says the presenters got a "gift bag" worth $42,000!!! That is just unreal!! Jessica Simpson won a $50,000 car!!
