It sucked. Well, ok, it all got eaten, but it sucked. On thursday the course I am in has a little get-together and they asked everyone to bring a typical dish from their countries. So, I'm thinking USA...typical? I think about it a bit, and I realized that Thanksgiving was just around the corner. Aha! Pumpkin pie! It's so typical that just about every Thanksgiving has at least one for desert. The forcast for tomorrow has a 90% chance of snow. Yes, Snow! It's supposed to snow in the afternoon, and that night, and into the next day (and hopefully night!). Hopefully, there will be accumulation. When there is, have no fear, I will send pictures back to all you poor Texans of all the snow I am enjoying.

I made cinnamon bread tonight for my breakfast this weekend and into the week, for however long it lasts. The thing is, I have been told outright that it won't last until tomorrow if I leave it in the kitchen. I am developing a method to doing laundry here. In the US dorms, when you wanted to do laundry, you put in a certain number of quarters for the washer, and a certian number for the dryer. Generally, one go got you one wash or dry. Here, we put in tokens into meters. We get to use the washer or dryer for as long as that token allows, meaning one ( Read more... )
