who the heck is chalkmaster dave?

Chalkmaster Dave is a guy I've seen at the Busker Festival and on Spring Garden Road in Halifax in the summers. He creates beautiful chalk drawings on the sidewalk and asks for small change in return. The money is to support him and his daughter (he draws pictures of her a lot). The guy in your picture looks just like him.
