Transformative Works and a half-assed Rec List
Hi! So I haven't posted in a while, and apparently I'm still not ready to make a real post. So let's talk about Transformative Works.
I have no idea what I did to be so lucky (except maybe have blanket permission?) but there have been quite a few of my stories being transformed lately and I am kind of super excited about this.
Like, this morning I opened my inbox and found out that the crazy not!fic I wrote that is totally Not A Sk8er Boi AU has been podficced. Twice. By two amazing podfic artists.

Both of these readings are so great. I was totally squealing with glee the whole time I was listening and I'm so chuffed that two such talented readers decided (somewhat unknowingly) to record this pile of crazy AT THE SAME TIME.
In other amazing news, you know that ridiculous Time Travel 'verse of mine with all the porn and self-cest that grew a plot and got all emotional and stuff? How about this - the ENTIRE THING is now available as podfic. Yes. ALL NINE HOURS OF IT.
knight_tracer is completely insane. In the best possible way. She not only took on the monster that is James Cameron Got It Wrong, she also went back and did Reaching Through The Mirror AND the little Timestamp coda afterwards.
And cee_m did a ridiculously awesome version of the Ray/Mikey story Tell Me Something True, which is so well read and so fucking great. And she and knight_tracer teamed up to put out a totally awesome pod book of the whole damn thing.

Speaking of people who are insane, pennyplainknits began the most excellent undertaking of recording the longest standalone fix I've ever written - In Production (you know, the Umbrella Academy Movie one). It's still a WIP, but the parts that are up are so great and so worth listening to!
gigiii3 came out of nowhere with a version of A Milkshake With Two Straws and it's completely adorable.
xojemmaxo did an adorable reading of Practise Makes Perfect (AKA baby's first Waycest) which is so cute and sweet.
And fire_juggler did a version of That Rockstar Shit - best surprise ever! Mikey/Ray FTW!
Of course, podfic isn't the only kind of transformative work out there.
