Mags, yes those scences were hot. I do enjoy all your pretty pics spam. My all time sexiest scene is the arm grab and eye sex at the end of rabid. That was scorching to me.
Maggs, you are awesome! These are all so great! See...why is it that when I hang out in your corner fandom is fun again? That's it--this is where I'm staying. Your page is now officially my favorite place in fandom. LOL

Yay, thank you!!! Always come to hang out around here, I'm finally having fun in this fandom again, it's awesome!!!
Yeah, the consent issues actually drive me nuts. It's one of Smallville's worst offenses, right in front of the show's inability to give women narrative arcs that function without self-harm and sacrifice in Clark's name.
You said it all. The trend is highly-disturbing and it grates further when I see fandom look at that and say things like 'ZOMG!!!! Clark and Zatanna's kiss was the hottest thing ever, omg, so much hotter than Clark and Lois, they're my true OTP, wahhhhh!' It's awful.
I feel like such a stickler but it's such a trigger for me, consent issues. I realized how much when I found myself crying uncontrollably during the final three episodes of Veronica Mars S1. Society has such a terrible attitude towards these issues, and it's so deeply ingrained that very few people realize how incredibly WRONG this all is. I don't know. I could go all day, but I won't. Rant away :DD
I always go back-and-forth on Michael Rosenbaum. Interestingly, I don't find him sexy outside of his role as Lex, and as Lex, I'm not sure where I draw the line between 'sexy' and just really compelling to me. But there's something in his line delivery that used to give me tingles from the get-go. Kristin Kreuk's Lana I never found sexy until she started getting together with Lex tbh, mainly because the show didn't want us to see her as a sexual being - since, you know, sex is bad, evil, wretched, all that good stuff ::eye roll::. Anyway, I love that scene, they worked so well as a couple when the show let them

I think part of that scene was off-the-cuff, as in, I don't think he came out to Watchtower to hang out with her and shoot arrows with the express intent of seducing Chloe Sullivan and shagging on the couch. But, I do think that the very fact that he was there, that the scene was set up just so, that he was saying all of those things he was saying - like, it feels like an increasingly overt come-on. Like 'I don't know where this is going, I'm lonely, I know she's lonely; we're friends; I'll just go with the flow....' And then progressively, 'Oh - okay, she's responding to me, why don't I push a little further, ask her to come and shoot an arrow with me, why don't I whisper in her ear; and this shouldn't be awkward or weird because we know each other....'. And I think Chloe displays a tacit awareness of this, there's a lot happening at the obvious level, within the dialogue, and in their actions, but there's also a lot passing between them underneath that

Clark/Alicia---I'm really glad you chose this scene. This, to me, is their hottest scene for exactly the reason that someone described above. It felt very much like two teenagers making out. In that moment, I believed that Clark was just a horny teenage boy who was really psyched to have a girl in his bed. Clark was even MORE human in that moment and I loved that

I agree with all your thoughts on Alicia. She was such a wasted opportunity for this show. They could've used her in season four while Lana was off with Jason.
The arm grab, amazing. Gah, love all those moments. Tom Welling really can turn it on, it's insane, no wonder Lois is a puddle of goo around Clark. Can you imagine dating someone who had that? One minute you're talking about tractors and the next he says one word and the panties are on fire. His greatest super power revealed, lol.
Thank you muchly, Mary. I ramble, I'm glad you like my rambling. :))))) Fandom fun party, that's how we roll!!!
