It's been a real bad week. I'm moving out of the apartment; have to out by tomorrow, the 15th, but it being Thursday, the day before payday, Adair is giving me at least until friday, possibly Sunday or Monday. I am in sooo much shit. I have no money, no income, no TV/phone/internet bundle, no heat, and I may not have a roof over my head in a few days. I've got over a dozen job applications from the mall but I need a working phone before I turn any of them in. I'm really hoping Uncle Tony comes through with the money for a go-phone from Best Buy. Saw on the news yesterday that Davy Jones died of a heart attack in Florida. He was the short, cute one in the musical group The Monkees. He was only 66 years old and leaves behind four daughters, aged from 24 to 44, born from the first two of his three wives. He was so young. And still good looking.

I'm lying in bed yesterday morning, waiting to see if my body wanted a bit more sleep, when I heard a quite voice in my head distinctly say, "jury duty," and my eyes flew open, all trace of sleep fleeing in panic. Music producer Clive Davis found the body of Whitney Houston this afternoon at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. It's saddening, but no surprise. She was 48. The Beverly Hilton is where the Grammy Awards will be held tomorrow. Well, I got another summons. I call in for jury duty on Tuesday, the 14th. Valentine's Day. It's been about 724 days since my last day in the courthouse, less than a week shy of two weeks.
