Health Update
Oh, and FYI all: My liver function has returned to normal! I still have to watch what I eat, and lose more weight, but I am making progress. -
At least my day is interesting.
So this morning, I went to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast. Just a hot chocolate and a flatbread sandwich. Nothing that out there ( Read more... ) -
Health Update
So, back in March I had some blood work done. The doctor said my cholesterol was a bit on the high side, I should reduce my fat intake. That wasn't so bad. I switched to low-fat cheese, cut back on red meat and fatty pork, started eating more chicken and turkey, and started to exercise. No big deal, right? An Update
So. An update. My car now has two working headlights again. The hood and passenger fender are still dented, but that's just cosmetic ( Read more... ) -
Does fate just hate it when I have two working headlights?
So, I was on my way up to Richard's apartment the evening of Halloween. A six-point buck decided to introduce himself to my fender. He took out my brakes, my headlamp, my turn signal, and the headlamp bracket. The passenger side, of course. In addition he dented up my hood, and there's also a huge dent in the passenger side fender, right in front ( Read more... ) -
I has a new toy!
So, about a week ago my phone died. No sound whatsoever. No vibrate, nothing. I could still get and send calls, but I couldn't hear the person on the other side, and they couldn't hear me. I could still get texts fine, though. So I went to have my phone looked at. My choices were to either pay $50 for a refurbished replacement of the model I had. ( Read more... ) -

So, Mom and Kathi are in South Carolina for my family reunion. I stayed here in Jersey to feed the cats.

Something Interesting
So, I was leaving campus tonight after my Machine Design final, (which went quite well. I am pleased!) and a woman stopped me in the hall. She asked me what I used on my hair. I was quite flattered. She said she felt a little uncomfortable asking a stranger in the hall about her hair products, but my hair was just so shiny, she had to ask ( Read more... )
