I think it is absolutely brilliant that what happened was Jensen being able to find a mentor when he was all confused when he was a kid.

Also - congratulations to Jared for getting both!

I really wanted Jensen's parents to have a reason to be stressed beyond "God hates fags." I wanted to show how much they loved him. It would have been so much easier to forgive him than it was to forgive themselves.

It has been a long long time. This chapter kicked my butt. I'm so bad at writing more than two people in a room, and moving the scene around so Donna could say what she needed to say was so damn complicated.

Heh. Jared totally deserves all the thank-you sex he gets that night. he was willing to take the emotional bullett for Jensen, take the risks, be the one on the front lines of that battle.

So happy to see more of this. I just love this story. Poor Jensen. I can't wait til he gets to Jared's house. Surely things will go better.
