I understand, in just this moment
Why writers drink,
And why drinkers write
How a surface numbness
And internal detachment
Can facilitate a creation from
A broken soul
Why smoking is such

My "orphaned" kittens!
...are now 6 weeks old! Hurrah! Now I just need to get them vaccinated... which may have to wait because it looks like they might both be getting another upper respiratory infection. >_< I wonder if I could get other people to pay for it?

Because you really wanted to hear more about my kittens and their poop...
So we got them pooping! Never thought I'd be excited to see another living creature's poop, much less being happy enough that I was rather nonchalant about the mess it made. goodjoan, THANK you for the baby suppository tip! So the kittens were given a clean bill of health, mostly. Doc was concerned about the lack of pooping, but a teeny-weeny kitten enema should take care of that. All the kittens are male, apparently, so their names are now: black kitten = Flynn (as in Errol Flynn, who we thought played the Scarlet Pimpernel, but it was actually Leslie Howard, oh ( Read more... )
