I'm here and I'm alive! And my laptop battery has exactly 30% charge left and the adapter I bought for Japanese power sources doesn't work! XD So until another one arrives from Australia next week, the blessed silence continues ( Read more... )

It was pretty good, actually! And for most of it I was sitting next to a sweet little fellow who kept talking excitedly about how many movie channels there were and how great the food and service were, and then he just kept repeatedly thanking all the air stewardesses who came by ... all of which made me feel oddly cheerful. :D

How cute! I love airplane rides - interesting people to look at and things to see. Admittedly, I've only been on two planes in the last ten years, so I probably haven't had a chance to become jaded yet.

It's interesting how other people's cheerfulness can make you feel much happier yourself or much crankier, depending on circumstances.
