I LOVE Sir Ian McKellen XD;;

<3

I found this by accident today. If you've never watched the BBC show 'Extras', you need to find it.

Then I found this:

:D

... which is somehow funny without ever having watched an episode of Star Trek. (I did see one of the really old ones once with Captain Kirk. He was wrestling a styrofoam dinosaur. <3 ( Read more... )

You know, I hear he's going to be doing King Lear in Australia some time. Might have to sign up for some tickets I think.

Exactly!

I almost dealt my dad some serious bodily harm the other day when I told him the news. He asked "Who?" I just stared at him incredulously and then said "Gandalf". Sad.

But I am so there. He won't be coming to Canberra, I suspect, so a roadtrip might be in order. If I can find out when and get some tickets...

So, so much love XD

I need to see if that's on Foxtel. I saw a couple of episodes in England after having watched the whole of The Office in about two days, and eee, want more~ XD

*dies laughing*

Those Extras clips are hilarious! I especially like the Orlando Bloom one. :P And much love for Captain Picard, as always.

Orlando Bloom clearly has a fabulous sense of humour, which has raised him in my esteem somewhat after his rather uninspired acting lately ;)

I'm often bemused at how late I've come to sci-fi in general. I think a few childhood acquaintances put me off. XD;; I didn't actually watch and like a Star Wars movie until I was 20 (or was I older, even?) and my sister's boyfriend forced us both to see the new ones.

Having said that, I've never actually seen Star Trek (apart from the awesome old styrofoam dinosaurs) and I still have no idea whether I'd like it or not. But Patrick Stewart has always been a legend. XD

I've always been quite fond of Orlando Bloom, but somehow never actually had a crush on him (really!), despite being in middle school when he became famous and watching practically all his movies (though not on his account). I was actually the first person I know who actually even heard of him - I was very, very obsessed with The Lord of the Rings around fifth grade, and spent computer lessons at school learning the cast list of the movie off by heart. I never thought of him as especially fanciable, and I was quite shocked to discover around grade seven or eight that every single girl in my grade seemed to be hopelessly in lust with him. :P And I agree that he's not a particularly good actor, but he just seems to project this air of likability. From what I've heard, he seems... normal ( ... )

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you clicked on the second link to Patrick Stewart instead ;)
