Kyle MacLachlan ruined Twin Peaks by refusing to do a romance storyline with Audrey on the basis that his character would never fuck around with a high school girl, which is why the crap plots dominated the 2nd season, and also why Heather Graham got on the show and subsequently became famous at all (as compared to the plethora of other equally attractive well-endowed bad actresses out there.)
