This was gorgeous, and ethereal, and yes, a little chimerical :) So many little glowing images..

"She had adopted the Doctor’s life of constant escape and inconstant everything else"

“No, no, no,” he assured her gently. “It’s like…humans and long division. You have to concentrate on it. Maybe pull out a pencil.”

"It would be like describing a chair leg to a fish."

I'm trying to bring the word "chimerical" back into fashion. It's an uphill battle :-)

I really liked this! The narration has a lovely, quiet feel to it. Love the idea of them sharing dreams - it seems such an intimate thing. And the ending is perfect with that hint of angst. Thank you for sharing this. =)

Lovely story, enjoyed the way Rose still tried to help the Doctor and you can feel the love between them. Looking forward to more.
