I'm back. Well, for a while, anyway, seeing how the finals start on next Friday. But I finally have a rough draft of the third chapter of Occam's, which I managed to put together in the bus before nausea took over, so that might appear some time in the near future. Expect less of Even and more of that furball for now.

Yay for being back-ish. And friends who don't judge are rare and precious. ♥

I really like the orific for some reason, because it's sweet in a weird, understated way; the narrator's going 'argh this is so cliche but I'll say it anyway'. It's the transition from the initial skepticism to the sudden thoughtful wistfulness that I enjoyed seeing, 'cause while it's easy to be cynical in this world... it's quite another thing to be able to constantly find things beautiful about it.

Thankee~ :) Everything mentioned in the snippet actually happened, and then it arranged itself in my head into a coherent whole that demanded to be written down. Meaning I made none of it up, which is something I'm very proud of, because it's very easy to add in one thing here and another one there in order to make it look better.

And yeah, some people are pretty incredible to have as friends. I keep being amased by it myself.

I also forgot to mention in my other comment - freakily, your cousin sounds like a spin-off of Org13. Must be the X.

Those kind of stories are awesome. Also I'm relieved to know I'm not the only person who transcribes RL events like that sometimes. X3

So do I. But it feels awesome to know they're there for you~

Heh, I suspect there's a huge load of people who do that, and none of them dares to admit it for the fear of seeming weird. XD 'Sides, I hear even the best authors do it (or perhaps they do it even more than the rest of us).

Yep. Friends = angels without wings, meaning they won't fly away. :)
